Welcome all, to the 98th Annual Scarborough Angling Festival, giving nine days of competition from the shore and the boat. Four roving competitions attracting Penn Sea league points this year
This year sees the Fifty Ninth Anniversary of our Premier shore event The All England Codling Championship with cash prizes of almost £1500.00, a first prize £500, several silver trophies and many other good prizes.
The drawn pairs events proved successful and will be fished on each of the Sunday roving matches-See Schedule for further details.
A new innovation this year is The Scarborough Kayak Championship on the 27th September-see schedule for details.
This year also sees the return of an heaviest fish match on Saturday 27th
Competitors are requested to read the general rules and special rules in the schedule carefully. If you have any queries, please consult the Secretary or any committee member. Special notice should be taken of the changes to the minimum size of some species which have been amended to comply with D.E.F.R.A rules and in the interests of conservation.
Why not bring the family and enjoy the many amenities provided by the council and private enterprise.
